Introduction to Botswana

Located in southern Africa, Botswana is considered the “holy grail” of safari experiences for many people. It’s different because it’s covered in water and in many places your safari is by boat. Botswana has the largest concentration of African elephants, and you see things here that are very different from what you’d see in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, or Namibia. With 38% of the country’s land dedicated to wildlife management areas, national parks and game reserves and a population of less than two million, Botswana provides an uncommon experience. It’s a true escape into the wild.
