Located in northwestern Namibia, Etosha National Park is one of the most accessible game reserves in Namibia and Southern Africa. Its diverse landscape includes wide open grasslands, Mopani trees, large camel thorn trees and an array of natural springs and fountains that serve as waterholes for the abundance of wildlife that thrives in the park. In stark contrast, Etosha National Park is also home to a salt pan that formed over 100 million years ago. It’s easily the largest in Africa—so large that it is visible from space.
